Am 23.05.09 findet im Yaam die 5th Anniversary of Dirty Ragga Squad statt. Nach über 250 Parties mit Acts wie Culcha Candela, Martin Jondo, Irie Revoltes, Mono & Nikitamann, Vido Jelashe und vielen mehr, ist es an der Zeit “Danke!” zu sagen und die gemeinsame Zeit mit einer dicken Party wieder aufleben zu lassen! Moderiert vom Berliner Jargon- Jongleur PR Kantate, bekannt durch seinen Sommerhit „Görli Görli”, findet sich die Creme´ de la Creme´ der Deutsch-Europäischen Beatfamilie zu einem genreübergreifenden Happening zusammen. Begleitet von der 40Fiyah Band teilen sich an diesem Abend 14 Künstler die Bühne des Yaam. Das Londoner Reggae-Urgestein Brother Culture, der Münsteraner Dancehall-King Dr. Ring Ding und Ausnahmeperformer Zhi Mc (toastet auf Dancehall und Drum ´n´ Bass) werden dem Publikum mit ihren Live-Performances einheizen. Die Jahwed Family kommt den langen Weg aus Belgien nach Berlin und wir werden erleben, wie die Berliner Hip Hopper Berlinutz, die jüngst den Bandcontest „So klingt Berlin” gewannen, zum 1. Mal mit einer echten Reggae- Band auftreten. Die Deutschen Beatboxmeister 4XSample bereichern die Veranstaltung mit ihrer fantastischen Zungenakrobatik. Per dire no al nucleare in Italia, Greenpeace mobilita la scena musicale italiana. A rappresentare il panorama hip hop e raggamuffin italiano ci sono Piotta ei 99 Posse, ma hanno aderito anche Punkreas, Adriano Bono, Torpedo Sound Machine e Leo Pari. Insieme hanno realizzato un singolo, dal titolo No al nucleare: ha debuttato il 9 marzo con un live streaming dalla nave Rainbow Warrior, appartenente proprio alla flotta di Greenpeace. “Artisti contro il nucleare” perché: – il nucleare è pericoloso, essendo soggetto a rischi di gravi incidenti; – le centrali generano scorie che rimangono radioattive per migliaia di anni; – il contributo all’occupazione è molto limitato; – è troppo costoso nella costruzione e nello smaltimento e quindi la bolletta aumenterà; – investire nel nucleare impedirebbe lo sviluppo delle fonti rinnovabili; – è una pericolosa perdita di tempo ai fini climatici perché occorrono troppi anni per costruire le centrali ei risultati sarebbero scarsi; – non garantisce indipendenza energetica mentre l’uranio una risorsa limitata; – non ha il sostegno dei cittadini; – il nucleare è pericoloso anche a notevoli distanze, ma è più pericoloso quanto più è vicino.
